Where can I get help if I have more questions?
The Advising Center [new window] will be hosting freshman workshops and other advising opportunities. At the workshops, you can get your
questions answered regarding choosing classes for next semester. Advising
Center counselors and peer counselors will be there to assist you if
you need one-on-one help.

During November, Advising Center counselors, peer counselors and GatorAiders will hold drop-in advising in the residence community. Bring your current class schedule and your questions, and we will help you plan for Fall. More information will be shared in the FYI newsletter (new window).
The First Year Information (FYI) website [new window]
Several times each semester, the New Student Programs Office will update the FYI Newsletter website. Current information about mandatory advising and other advising events for freshmen will be posted there along with other tips and strategies to make your first year in college go much smoother. We will also remind you about dates, deadlines and future events.
