Letter regarding SF State's new login procedure
Subject: New SF State Login Procedures
To improve information security, SF State is switching from using a 4-digit PAC (Personal Access Code) to a stronger, more secure password. With this new procedure, users will be asked to select security questions and provide answers. These questions and answers will then allow users to reset passwords in the future. After January 1, 2009 PACs will no longer be accepted by SF State Web applications. Prior to this date, each user will need to:
- Visit: http://www.sfsu.edu/online/auth/
- Select security questions and provide answers
- Set SF State password
