The Advising Center is a university service staffed by professional counselors, interns, and peer advisors committed to providing guidance and information to help undergraduate students enjoy a successful college experience.

Quick Question hours (for CURRENT students only):

January 26th - February 13th

    • 9am to 4pm Monday - Thursday
    • 9am to 12pm Friday

    February 16th - May 1st

  • 10am to 4pm Monday - Thursday
  • 9am to 12pm Friday

Advising Center is closed every Friday after 12pm all semester.
The Advising Center staff will be involved in projects and advising related activities across campus.

When making an appointment, please specify which type of appointment you would like to make:

  1. GE/Graduation review – General Education/Graduation requirements
  2. Undeclared – Choosing a major
  3. Special Major – Getting started, follow up, completion
  4. Probation – Probation, subject to disqualification, disqualification
  5. Re-admit – Returning to SF State
