Preformance review
In an Aug. 27 Associated Press video (via the Washington Post), Professor of Management Sally Baack commented on Carly Fiorina's tenure at Hewlett-Packard. "She had very mixed results... Upcoming union vote in healthcare
Professor and Director of Labor Studies John Logan commented in the Aug. 21 San Francisco Chronicle on the upcoming vote by Kaiser Permanente employees when they choose whether to stay with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) or switch to the new National Union of Healthcare Workers (NUHW). "It's kind of depressing that all the resources and energy of these two unions is going to all of these workers who already have a union when there are hundreds and thousands of health care employees in California and elsewhere who have no union," said Logan.
