Second annual RoboGames features bots -- 1 ounce to 1,000 pounds -- from all over the world.

WHAT:
The second annual International RoboGames, the largest robot competition in the world, takes place this weekend, sponsored in part by the Engineering Department of the SFSU College of Science and Engineering.

Meet robots and their designers from many countries including Australia, Brazil, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, South Korea and all over the United States. Watch boxing androids that walk, wrestle and do kung fu; combat bots; Sumo bots; smart bots that solve mazes; art robots; robot soccer and more -- all competing for coveted titles and prizes (even the medals are roboticized)!

WHEN:
11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday, March 25 – 27, 2005

WHERE:
Jack Adams Hall, Terrace Level of the Cesar E. Chavez Student Center, SFSU campus, located at 1600 Holloway Ave. (at 19th Avenue) in San Francisco

ADMISSION:
$20 adult; $15 under 17; kids under 7 free
