About 100 students, and other community members, enrolled in course on presidential election WHAT: The students will watch the debate live in class and then discuss each candidate's performance. The unique two-unit course, taught by SFSU College of Behavioral and Social Sciences Dean Joel Kassiola, is a lecture series designed to help the campus community and the public better understand elections, political campaigns and campaign issues. SFSU faculty members hold weekly panel discussions on the campaign and the hottest issues in the party platforms, followed by discussion. On this week's panel, which will follow the debate, three faculty members are scheduled to discuss environmental issues as they pertain to the election. Graded on a credit/no-credit basis, the class is available to non-SFSU students through the College of Extended Learning at a reduced rate of $150. WHO: WHEN: WHERE: -###-
