How have increased tuition fees impacted you and your family?:
About two years ago, I began as a transfer student at SFSU. As I was not eligible for financial aid during the time, I had to work additional hours to finance my tuition and books. In addition to working 40+ hours a week, I went to school full time. To top it off, the seemingly increasing cost of books were difficulties that I and many other students found. Finding the best deals online, and even using reserve books at the library were some of my options. Fortunately, I was eligible for financial aid within this last year, and things have gotten a lot better for me. However, I know that there are still many other students out there currently struggling like I was. I am fortunate that this is my last year in college, as I can predict the costs can only continue to soar.

What are you studying at SF State and what do you hope to do once you graduate?:
I am an undergraduate business student with an emphasis on Marketing. I plan to enter the corporate environment, or start my own online business of some sort. I hope to inspire others, and make an impact in this world in the future.
