How have increased tuition fees impacted you and your family?:
Finding out we have increased fees scares me--not just for my family, but for those who cannot afford any increase whatsoever. I have heard a friend in class say that even now she can't afford next semester and isn't sure she will be able to continue her education.
What are you studying at SF State and what do you hope to do once you graduate?:
I'm in the special education department, studying orientation and mobility, which helps blind and visually impaired people with travel skills, including use of the long white cane.
When I graduate, I hope to work in the school system to help children with visual impairment gain confidence and independence in travel.
