How have increased tuition fees impacted you and your family?:
I can finally transfer! This is my first semester at SFSU after spending three years and one semester at CCSF trying to qualify for the basic requirements for transferring. The process was tough. I was almost disenrolled from SFSU because they weren't able to receive my transcipt, but I finally did it. I am now a gator! However, I don't know if I am able to stay as one because of the increased in tuition fees. My family is not the poorest, so most often I wasn't eligible for financial aid which means that my tuitions is paid by my parents. Although my family is not "considered" the poorest, my family is not made out of money and I don't know how long my family can help me through my journey to getting my bachelor's degree. Isn't there a famous saying that "children are our future"? If so, our future is not looking very bright.

What are you studying at SF State and what do you hope to do once you graduate?:
I'm currently majoring in English Education, and I'm hoping to become an ESL literacy teacher.
