How have increased tuition fees impacted you and your family?:
The increase of tuition fees have impacted me dramatically in the quality of life living in the city of San Francisco. Coupled with the increase costs of transportation, goods and other services, it makes it additionally difficult to make ends meet and also enjoy living here. Since the increases, I¿ve had to decrease my work hours in order to take the required courses to graduate in a timely manner. I see no semester where there will be a stop to further increase in tuition fees. Also, I had to cut many of my necessary expenses to offset tuition fees. This I believe takes a mental toll on a college student trying to be able to make a difference in becoming part of an ¿educated population¿.
What are you studying at SF State and what do you hope to do once you graduate?:
I¿m currently studying Art History. Armed with a degree, it will help me seek a better employment where it will allow me to teach others full appreciation in the history of world art.
