Proposal Title: Increasing faculty load to 12 units

Units affected: All colleges with the exception of Creative Arts and College of Education

Brief Description of Proposal:
The College of Creative Arts and the College of Education are the only two colleges that teach to a 12 unit load. In the nine unit teach load colleges, By increasing the work load by only one 3 unit course, more students would be served and the budget deficit for the university may be eliminated.
Cuts are not distributed evenly in the university. By having all colleges teach 12 units per faculty member, their would be equity in the sacrifices that all are making
