I notice that quite a lot of water gets delivered to SF State from companies like Calistoga, etc. If there was a clean water machine on campus where we could fill our 5 gallon bottles, it would be great. The machines that I am talking about are like the ones you see outside Safeway and other supermarkets. Last year I changed from having water delivered to my home to using these machines. The cost reduction was from $9.90 per bottle (when you include all the charges) to $2.00 per bottle. I would guess that campus wide that would save a lot of money. Also the machine would not cost anything because the companies that own them would be glad to have the business.
