International Center for the Arts
"Cachao: Uno Mas," a documentary produced by the Documentary Film Insitute, screened at the Miami Film Festival on March 10. The film’s credits include Cinema Professor and Chair Stephen Ujlaki as a producer, and President Robert A. Corrigan as an executive producer.

Creative Writing
Associate Professor of Creative Writing Nona Caspers' latest publication, "Little Book of Days," was released by Spuyten Duyvil Press, NY. Caspers was also a featured writer at the WOW (Women on Writing) Conference at Skyline College on March 7.

Secondary Education
Chair of the Department of Education Nathan Avani presented the session, "Developing a Successful Community Based Mentor Program for Middle and High School Young Adults," at the 22nd Annual International Mentoring Association Conference in Las Vegas on March 4.
