Erik Peper, director of the Institute for Holistic Healing, gave the invited keynote presentations, "Breathing exercises/related mind-body interventions for the management of chronic pain and anxiety" and "Repetitive strain injuries and computing" at the 2008 Annual Conference of the Biofeedback Society of Wisconsin held Sept. 26 and 27 in Appleton, Wis.

"Asian American Art: A History, 1850-1970," edited by Mark Johnson, professor of art and Fine Arts Gallery director; Gordon H. Chang; and Paul Karlstrom, was published recently by Stanford University Press.

Jo Tomalin, associate professor of theatre arts, presented a series of international workshops at University College in London, "The Art of Teaching: Theatre Techniques for the Classroom," from July 14 to 24.
