A Closer Look: Final cram before exams

Photo of students studying for a final exam in organic chemistry

Stefanie Grotkin, Nicole Rogers and Ari Zadel (from left) furrow their brows as they study for their final exam in Organic Chemistry I. Many students could be found Thursday, Dec. 11 -- the day before final exams began -- studying, writing papers and preparing for presentations amid the hustle and bustle of the Cesar Chavez Student Center. Final exams conclude Friday, Dec. 19. After a monthlong break, students begin the spring semester Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004.
