A Closer Look: Community Involvement Center food drive

Photo of Community Involvement Center food donation.Paritosh Merchant (MBA, Fall 2003) pitches in to fight hunger at the Community Involvement Center (CIC). The annual food drive benefits the Salvation Army in its work to feed the hungry in the Bay Area.

Whether you donate in one of the two CIC-sponsored locations (Mary Ward Hall and CIC office) or the Associated Students-sponsored barrel in the Student Center, all items benefit our hungry friends and neighbors in the Bay Area. Preferred items for donation are canned goods and non-perishable food. The CIC is housed in a brown trailer in the gym courtyard and has the banner "Community Involvement Center" in front.

The deadline for donations is Wednesday, Dec. 10. For details, call the Community Involvement Center at ext. 8-1486.
