Chinese Language Use and Language Teaching in the Context of Globalization

主讲教师: 陶红印 教授 (Prof. Hongyin Tao)

Professor Hongyin Tao is director of the Chinese language program at the University of California . Los Angeles . Prior to UCLA, he taught at the National University of Singapore and Cornell University . His areas of expertise include Mandarin discourse and grammar, applied linguistics, corpus linguistics, and language and society and culture. Recent projects include a US Department of Education sponsored project for advanced Chinese language teaching. He is on a number of editorial boards, including the Journal of Chinese Language Teachers Association and the Heritage Language Journal. Professor Tao's most recent articles have appeared in Language, Journal of Chinese Language and Computing, International Journal of Corpus Linguistics, and Studies in Language.

摘要 :在传统的语言教学理念中语言一般是被看作是单纯和均质的,并且主要以语言结构的流利为教学目标。可是对全球化状态下当代活的语言在中国的使用调查可以发现,汉语的各种区别很大;新词语、外来语、网络语言、方言成分等对标准语的影响甚巨,并可能带来一系列的语言认同问题。本文将以具体数据和录音、录像为语料,探讨这些复杂语言现象对中文教学的影响并就此提出若干建议。

主讲教师: 林秀惠教授 (Prof. Hsiu-huei Lin Domizio)

美国哥伦比亚大学应用语言学博士,专攻外语测试, 课程设计理论与外语教学评量. 美国旧金山州立大学外文系教学理论与实践助理教授。

曾任教于哥伦比亚, 布朗大学等大学东亚语文系及台湾师范大学华语教学研究所。著作包括大学汉语教科书《齐白石的一生》,《初恋台湾》及中学生适用《魔术罗盘与中文》,并有多篇应用语言学及汉语教学论文发表於美国外语教学学会年会 (ACTFL), 及Journal of International Journal of Language and Linguistics 《国际语言与语言学会刊》。
