San Francisco State has long had a substantial
presence on the World Wide Web. Its extensive and
ever-growing site -- a virtual welcome mat to the local,
national, and global community -- receives more than
400,000 hits a day. An Ad Hoc Web Review Team was appointed in April 1997 by President Robert A. Corrigan to recommend strategies the University should take to guide the current use and evolution of SFSU's Web site. Following the successful work of that team (e.g. setting SFSU's Web policy), a new committee has been formed to continue addressing the University's Web issues. If you have any ideas or comments about the University's Web site, please contact anyone on the committee. |
