Internships
Internships provide students with practical research and development experience. Instead of doing traditional master’s thesis research, students complete graduate course work, followed by a culminating experience consisting of a cooperative internship experience and an applied research project. Students work with a biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry or government and non-profit organizations in three- to nine-month paid or unpaid positions that are suited to their interests and directly related to their area of study.
