Possible BART strike July 1, 2009

BART IconStarting July 1, BART may strike due to current negotiations of union labor contract(s). Even if BART does not serve your area, we want to keep you informed on potential commute challenges employees may face from the added cars on the road. The Peninsula Traffic Congestion Relief Alliance and 511 Rideshare can help your employees get to work in a carpool or vanpool. Just encourage your staff to use the RideMatch Service-an interactive, on-demand program that matches commuters with similar routes and schedules to find carpool partners or a vanpool group. Visit www.commute.org and click on "Find a Carpool Partner" on the right side of the home page. SF State also has a Carpool Match program.

All Shuttle Service will end on May 22, 2009 and will start back up on August 24, 2009.
