Bike Barn Summer Cleaning Project
All bikes need to be removed from the Bike Barn by May 21, 2012. The Bike Barn will be closed for repairs and to be cleaned. Specific dates for the closure will be posted at a later date. Those bikes left behind will be removed and locks will be cut. The bikes will have to be picked up at the University Police Department, by appointment only, (415) 338-1441.
Permit Machines No Longer Accepting Coins
Effective February 15, 2012 the SF State parking permit machines will no longer accept coins. The machines will only accept cash and SF State debit cards. Bring exact amount because the machines do not give out change.
Daly City BART Transfer Goes Paperless, June 1, 2012.
Effective June 1, 2012 the Daly City BART paper transfer will no longer be available. In order to ride MUNI for free you must have a clipper card. When you exit the station the clipper card will automatically load the free MUNI transfer. It can be used on MUNI at the station and at 19th Ave. within a 23 hour period. If you ride the campus shuttle at the BART station you still can ride MUNI from 19th Ave. If you do not have a clipper card you can pick one up at the Information Desk in the Student Center.

SF State Shuttles, CARE Escorts, and the Bike Barn all resume normal service on Monday, January 23, 2012.
Daily Parking Permit Fee Change (Effective July 1, 2011)
Parking fees are $3.00 for two hours or $6.00 for the day. Daily permits expire at midnight. Two day permits are available for $12. Hourly rates are no longer available. Exact change is required, machines do not give change.

Passengers may ask for a ride to any of these stops during a time not listed, during the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, M-F.
At BART, inform the Campus Loop Driver which location you need to be dropped off at. Also, if you need assistance back to BART or another listed location, arrange for return trip at this time or call (415) 338-1441.
Campus Bicycle Parking
SF State offers over 250 designated parking spaces for bicycles throughout campus on bike racks and an additional 450 spaces in the Bike Barn, located in Lot 6 under the gym.
Bicycles, scooters, and other vehicles that are parked on or against handrails and in other non-designated areas are subject to a $58 citation and the bicycle, scooter, or other vehicle may be impounded at owner’s expense. Authority: CVC 21113 (a), (f) and TC 100 and ADA Section 504.
Please park your bicycle at a bicycle rack or at the Bike Barn located in Lot 6, under the Gymnasium.

Before you exit the station pick up the FREE MUNI courtesy ticket, which is located next to the Add Fare machines. (If you need assistance, just ask the station agent.)
