Lot 20 Parking Permits are available for Students.

Limited amount of semester permits will be available on a first come first serve basis. Once permits are sold out there will be no more available until the following semester.

$192 for a Monday & Wednesday semester permit. $192 for a Tuesday & Thursday semester permit. (both can be purchased) Prices change on a weekly basis. Check with Parking and Transportation for updated cost at (415) 338-1441.

Permits are sold at Student Services Building, Bursar's Office and Administration Building, Bursar's Office. Checks, cash or money orders are accepted.

 


Lot 25 Parking Permits available for On Campus Resident Students.

Semester permits will be available on August 22, 2012. These permits are $225 per semester and are available to students who live on campus only.

Permit Machines Do Not Accept Coins

The SF State parking permit machines no longer accept coins.  The machines will only accept cash and SF State debit cards.  Bring exact amount because the machines do not give out change.

Daly City BART FREE Transfer with a Clipper card.

The Daly City BART paper transfer is no longer available. In order to ride MUNI for free you must have a clipper card. When you exit the station the clipper card will automatically load the free MUNI transfer. It can be used on MUNI at the station and at 19th Ave. within a 23 hour period. If you ride the campus shuttle at the BART station you still can ride MUNI from 19th Ave for the return trip. If you do not have a clipper card you can pick one up at the Information Desk in the Student Center. If you are getting charged on your Clipper card go to the clippercard.com website and request a refund.

Daily Parking Permit Fee (Effective July 1, 2011)

Parking fees are $3.00 for two hours or $6.00 for the day.  Daily permits expire at midnight.  Two day permits are available for $12.  Hourly rates are no longer available.  Exact change is required, machines do not give change.

Passengers may ask for a ride to any of these stops during a time not listed, during the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, M-F.

At BART, inform the Campus Loop Driver which location you need to be dropped off at. Also, if you need assistance back to BART or another listed location, arrange for return trip at this time or call (415) 338-1441.

SF State offers over 250 designated parking spaces for bicycles throughout campus on bike racks and an additional 450 spaces in the Bike Barn, located in Lot 6 under the gym.

Bicycles, scooters, and other vehicles that are parked on or against handrails and in other non-designated areas are subject to a $58 citation and the bicycle, scooter, or other vehicle may be impounded at owner’s expense. Authority: CVC 21113 (a), (f) and TC 100 and ADA Section 504.

Please park your bicycle at a bicycle rack or at the Bike Barn located in Lot 6, under the Gymnasium.

NextBus can estimate MUNI arrivals with a high degree of accuracy. Using GPS and satellite technology, estimates are updated constantly. NextBus works for all MUNI lines and can be accessed from your computer or smart phone.
