All classes canceled for day of remembrance in honor of President Ronald Reagan

SAN FRANCISCO, June 9, 2004 -- San Francisco State University will observe a day of remembrance for former president Ronald Reagan on Friday, June 11, 2004, consistent with Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's declaration of a day of mourning. All classes will be canceled and the University will be closed.

Exceptions:

The New Student Orientation scheduled for Friday, June 11 will take place as scheduled. Incoming students and family members who have a confirmed registration for orientation on this day should attend as planned. To check on orientation confirmation or registration, or for any other information about New Student Orientation, visit the Advising Center Web site at www.sfsu.edu/~advising.

The summer school course Cinema 325 will be offered as originally scheduled, from 4-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
