SF State Undocumented/AB 540 Educational Equity Task Force

The SF State Undocumented/AB 540 Educational Equity Task Force was formed in Spring 2012 to formalize the support for undocumented students applying to or currently attending San Francisco State University. The task force is made up of staff, faculty, and students from across campus. and. All members of the San Francisco state community are encouraged to participate in our monthly meetings. Task Force Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month in the SF State library from 10 AM to 12 noon.

2014-15 Task Force Meeting dates are held from 10am-12pm on the following dates:

  • October 8th
  • November 12th
  • December 10th
  • January 14th
  • February 11th
  • March 11th
  • April 8th
  • May 13th

Mission Statement:

The San Francisco State University AB540/Undocumented Students Educational Equity Task Force is a coalition of staff, students, faculty and administrators dedicated to supporting the academic, professional and personal success of undocumented students enrolled at the university, as well as those of undocumented prospective students. The Task Force seeks to support the higher educational aspirations of undocumented students by identifying and effectively addressing the institutional barriers to their enrollment, retention and graduation, and by supporting their personal empowerment and resiliency, as well as their experience of the university as a safe and welcoming campus.
