DPRC’s Priority Registration Procedures
Priority Registration for classes is provided for students registered with the DPRC as having a chronic or permanent disability. Students eligible for this service are encouraged to register early each term in order to create a class schedule that meets their disability-related needs.
Students with disabilities need to give careful consideration to the specific impact of their disabilities when registering for classes. Factors like the physical location of the class, the time of day it is offered, and the amount of reading that is required can all significantly affect registration decisions for a student with a disability.
To maximize each student’s disability management when planning his or her course load, the University provides priority registration to students with disabilities through the DPRC. Students with disabilities must register with the DPRC to be eligible for this service.
Early Priority Registration for Fall 2013: Monday, April 29, 2013
Final Priority Registration for Fall 2013: Monday, July 29, 2013
Please note: If you choose not to take advantage of Early Priority Registration, the DPRC cannot guarantee coordination of your accommodations and services (e.g. accessible media, real-time captioning/interpreting, etc...) in time for the first day of Fall 2013 instruction.
The Fall 2013 class schedule is available online as of April 15, 2013.
You can check your registration information by logging into the SF State Gateway at http://gateway.sfsu.edu. To see both your Early and Final Priority Registration date and time and the fee payment deadline for Fall 2013, navigate to the "Registration Time" by:
- Selecting "Schedule/Classes"

All registration holds must be cleared prior to registration.
DPRC students are allowed to register classes for up to 16 units.
Please contact us immediately if the SF State Gateway does not list your DPRC Early Priority Registration date or the approved 16 units.
Students are not officially enrolled until fees are paid*. If fees are not paid or cleared by July 11, 2013, classes added during Early Priority Registation will be dropped
Third Party Payment:
If your tuition fees are being paid directly to the University by a third party (e.g. Department of Rehabilitation) and you are concerned that the payment will not be made in a timely manner, please contact the DPRC office immediately for assistance.
