Events Calendar


The purpose of the Career Events Calendar is to provide a centralized resource of information on career-related events and programs for students. The events listed below are presented by academic and University departments to assist SF State students in their career planning.

Guidelines for Guests Attending Events

The Career Center is committed to creating a safe, professional, business-like environment during all career events. The staff wants to proactively assist organizations, sponsors and guests attending career events to ensure a positive beneficial experience.

By attending, you understand that you are a guest of the organizations sponsoring the career event and agree that you will follow the Code of Conduct. You also understand that the Career Center reserves the right to ask guests to leave.

On-Going Events

On-Campus Interviewing (OCI)

Employers will conduct on-campus interviews from September 28 - November 20 in the Career Center. Be sure to attend an optional OCI Program Orientation Workshop and learn strategies for using GatorJOBS to sign up for on-campus interviews.

"Workshops at Four"

To help students identify and find their dream careers in a tight, competitive job market, the Career Center will present a series of workshops on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. in SSB 206.
In collaboration with the College of Business, the workshops will be repeated on Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. in BUS 202.
Seating is limited for all workshops, so arrive early. Attend and receive priority access to other career programs and events.

Workshops for International Students

The Office of International Programs (OIP) offers a series of workshops of special interest to F-1 Visa international students that provide current information about working in the U.S. Other workshops are very specific and discuss Practical Training, H1-B Visa and permanent residency.
