Registration and Non-resident Tuition Fees


Important Notice: Fees are subject to change without advance notice by action of the CSU Board of Trustees and the campus.

Notes:

State University Fee: The CSU Board of Trustees at its May 14, 2008 meeting approved a 10% increased to the State University Fee for undergraduate, graduate, and credential students that is effective with the Fall 2008 semester.

 

 

Local Fees:

IRA – Athletics Fee: For the 2008-2009 academic year, this has increased by $12.

A)     On October 3, 2007, the Student Fee Advisory Committee approved to increase the Recreation Sports portion of the IRA – Athletics Fee by $7 for Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 with annual increases through Fall 2011 and Spring 2012.

B)     In Spring 2005, a Student Fee Referendum was approved by student body to increase the IRA – Athletics Fee with annual increases. The Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 increase is $5 per semester.

Student Health Service Fee: In Spring 2004, a Student Fee Referendum was approved by the student body to increase the Student Health Services Fee with annual increases through Fall 2009 and Spring 2010. The Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 increase is $3 per semester.

Registration Process:

Continuing students will be able to enroll in 8 units during the Early Priority Registration period and defer their payment of fees until the fee payment deadline before Final Priority Registration. During Early Priority Registration you enroll in up to 8 units. In order to take advantage of your Final Priority Registration period, your payment must be received in the Bursar's Office by the fee payment deadline noted on your Bursar's Fee Payment Form or you will be dropped from your Early Priority Registration classes. Finally, you enroll in the remainder of your classes during the Final Priority Registration or Open Registration period. If you miss your fee payment deadline, allow at least one (1) working day up to five (5) working days after payment of fees before registering during an open registration period.

 

First-time Freshmen or transfer students must pay registration fees and non-resident tuition for the total number of units for which you intend to register. Next, you enroll in classes during Priority Registration or Open Registration period. In order to take advantage of your priority registration period, your payment must be received in the Bursar's Office by the fee payment deadline noted on your Bursar's Fee Payment Form. If you miss your fee payment deadline, allow at least one (1) working day up to five (5) working days after payment of fees before registering during an open registration period.

 

All students must pay registration fees appropriate to their student level. In addition, Out-of-State and International students must pay $339.00 per unit.

Doctoral students enrolled in the Ed.D. in Education Leadership

 

doctoral program will be charged State University fees of $3,963 for

 

Full- time enrollment (6.1 or more units) in addition to local fees and

 

non-resident tuition.

 

Out-of-State and International students must pay the following total registration fees along with $339 per unit:
