CINE 823 : Curation and Cinema
| Prerequisites: | Admission to the Cinema M.A. or M.F.A. program, or the Museum Studies M.A. program. |
| Description: | Examination of curatorial practice and the role of curators in contemporary culture; the relation between moving images and contemporary art practices; projection, display and exhibition of time-based media in and beyond film events and art institutions. This course is offered as CINE 823 and MS 823. Students may not repeat the course under an alternate prefix. (Plus-minus letter grading only.) |
