CINE 375 : U.S. Culture and Cinema of the 1950s

Prerequisites: Upper division standing or consent of instructor
Description: Analysis of representative Hollywood films of the 1950s in light of contemporary political, ideological, social, and economic shifts in U.S. culture, with the goal of understanding the historical precursors of current conceptions of the relationship the between individuals and society.
