M S 790 : Archives Management and Preservation

Prerequisites: Classified graduate standing in museum studies or consent of instructor.
Description: History, principles, methodologies, and practical administration of non-electronic archives (original documents, maps, photographic materials, manuscripts, diaries, albums, government records); practical, hands-on experience with preservation methods. (Plus-minus letter grade only.)
