KIN 580 : Instructional Strategies for Middle and High School Physical Education, Grades 6-12

Prerequisites: Passing JEPET or ENG 414 or KIN 330 GW, KIN 250 with a grade of C or better; two additional courses of the GE Segment I requirements; KIN 486 or KIN 487; upper division standing; or consent of instructor. Must be taken concurrently with KIN 581.
Description: Strategies and teaching styles to establish the environment for learning motor skills. Long- and short-term planning, class management and communication techniques, evaluation procedures, and basic legal considerations.
