SPAN 850 : Mass, Multitudes, Populations in Latin American Literature

Prerequisites: Graduate standing in Spanish MA program or consent of instructor.
Description: Examination of the masses as an unrecognizable and irrational life, the construction of popular identities, and mass movements in political life as portrayed in contemporary Latin American literature.
