JS 451 : Jewish Literature of the Americas

Prerequisites: ENG 214 or equivalent.
Description: Explores literatures of the Americas through the lens of Jewish identity and tradition. Texts in translation from Latin America, Canada, and the US reveal how Jewish writers have rethought modernity's intersection with Jewish traditions. (Cross listed with CWL/ENG 451.
