SXS 770 : Sexuality and Public Policy

Prerequisites: Graduate standing or consent of instructor.
Description: Examination of the development of sexuality-related policy in the United States. The framework of historical debates and their impact on current policy will be discussed. Legal, ethical, political, fiscal, and other structural considerations will be addressed. The role of academic theory and research in the creation of public policy will be considered.
