NURS 444 : Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Theory
| Prerequisites: | All Semester 3 Nursing courses. Must be taken concurrently with NURS 445, 446, 447. |
| Description: | Theories and principles of psychiatric nursing, as well as foundations of behavior, communication, and psychopharmacology, are emphasized. Acute and chronic mental health/illness, rehabilitation and promotion of healthy adaptation of patients and families will be explored in a variety of clinical settings. |
