AA S 377 : Cambodians in the United States

Prerequisites: Upper division standing or consent of instructor.
Description: Examine push-pull factors that led people to flee Cambodia; focus on constraints and strategies (institutional, artistic, community, cultural) deployed by Cambodian Americans to negotiate their status in the US: politically, culturally, economically, and socially. (Formerly AAS 393)
