GEOG 402 : Human Response to Natural Hazards

Prerequisites: ENG 214 or equivalent.
Description: Human-environmental interactions that result in major and/or frequent disasters to human lives and properties; overview of physical mechanisms of natural hazards; coping strategies of societies; mitigation of natural hazards in the context of sustainable development and environmental conservation.
