BIOL 627 : Biophysics

Prerequisites: PHYS 121, CHEM 115, and BIOL 230, or equivalents or consent of instructor.
Description: Physical description of free energies and driving forces, energetic and timescales of biological processes, interactions of biomolecules, diffusion transport and signaling, protein DNA and membrane structure, molecular motors, cooperative binding, membrane potentials and excitability, regulation of gene expression.
