BIOL 582 : Biological Oceanography

Prerequisites: BIOL 230, BIOL 240. Intended for biology majors.
Description: Physical characteristics of oceans; biology of plankton and benthos, emphasizing production and food webs. Identification, sampling, and productivity measurements of marine organisms. Classwork, 3 units; laboratory and field work, 1 unit. Extra fee required.
