ENGR 356 : Basic Computer Architecture

Prerequisites: ENGR 205 with a grade of C or better.
Description: Number systems. Design of combinational and sequential circuits. Digital functional units such as adders, decoders, multiplexers, registers, and counters. Karnaugh maps and Boolean algebra. State-machine design. Organization of storage, dataflow, and control units. Computer peripheral devices.
