About 300 students, and other community members, enrolled in course on presidential election WHAT: A San Francisco State University class, “The 2004 Presidential Elections: Issues and Analysis,” will hold a special session on Election Night in which students will watch election returns on big-screen television and a panel of faculty experts from the Political Science Department will provide real-time analysis. The unique two-unit course, taught by SFSU College of Behavioral and Social Sciences Dean Joel Kassiola, is a lecture series designed to help the campus community and the public better understand elections, political campaigns and campaign issues. SFSU faculty members hold weekly panel discussions on the campaign and the hottest issues in the party platforms, followed by discussion. The general public is invited to the Election Night class.
