Welcome to the College of Science and Engineering (COSE) at San Francisco State University. The COSE Health and Safety Office is here to help you develop and maintain a safe working environment for you and your students. Quality of research, classroom instruction, and personnel safety go hand-in-hand and cannot really be separated in a successful University operation.
The COSE recognizes its obligation to provide for environmental health and safety in its operations. This means that faculty and staff must take appropriate steps to minimize health hazards and risk of injury. The physical well being of students, faculty, staff, and visitors must be given due consideration.
