| The primary objective of the SFSU Compliance
Program is to provide the information, training, and internal
controls needed to meet the laws, rules, and policies
governing sponsored research at SFSU.
The Compliance Committee, chaired by the Provost, oversees
the Compliance Program at SFSU. The Compliance Officer
manages the daily operation of the sponsored research
Compliance Program. The Compliance Officer's chief responsibility
is to monitor internal controls to ensure compliance
with all federal laws and regulations regarding sponsored
research funding.
