SAN FRANCISCO, CA, May 10, 2000---Bowl for free and help raise money to save rainforests and coral reefs. SF State's Center for Ecosystem Survival is holding its 6th Annual Bowl-The-Planet pledge event on Saturday, May 20th at Japantown Bowl. Games start at 1:30, with Bumper Bowling for kids. From 5 to 8 p.m., the lights dim, the pins glow, and the music pumps for Glow Bowling. A $15 registration fee for Glow Bowling includes beer, food, and music. Plus validated parking, free shoe rental, and prizes.
This event raises funds to bring the Center's Insect Discovery Lab to underserved Bay Area children and to preserve endangered habitats worldwide. To register or volunteer, call the Center at 415-338-3393.
