Good photo and interview opportunity with future leaders

WHAT: San Francisco State University’s hood recipients, the top graduates chosen to represent the 8,041 students in the class of 2007, will rehearse for the Saturday, May 26, Commencement Ceremony.

WHEN: 3 to 4 p.m., Friday, May 25

WHERE: Cox Stadium, behind the SF State Gymnasium, 1600 Holloway Ave., (at 19th Avenue), San Francisco

WHO: Each hood recipient is an outstanding student with a unique story and an ambitious plan for the future. Each recipient represents their fellow graduates in the SF State colleges of Business, Behavioral and Social Sciences, Creative Arts, Education, Ethnic Studies, Health and Human Services, Humanities, and Science and Engineering, and the Division of Graduate Studies and Liberal Studies program. This year’s hood recipients are:

• Karen Chan of South San Francisco (Science and Engineering)
• Tal Levy-Chen of Oakland (Business)
• Oscar Gustavo Macias Martinez of San Francisco (Health & Human Services)
