SAN FRANCISCO, May 24, 2002 WHO: More than 3,700 graduates, of 7,186 total, comprising the largest graduating class in San Francisco State University history, will receive their degrees at the University's 101st Commencement on Saturday. An expected crowd of 22,000 will hear keynote speaker Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, who as minority whip is the highest-ranking woman ever in Congress. Honored guests include:
WHEN: Noon to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, May 25. Processional into the stadium begins at 12:15 p.m. Program begins at 1 p.m. Keynote speech begins at about 2 p.m. WHERE: Cox Stadium, behind the San Francisco State University gymnasium, 1600 Holloway Ave. (at 19th Avenue), San Francisco.
