SAN FRANCISCO, March 27, 2002 --San Francisco State University's Student Health Service will hold its ninth annual African American Community Health Fair on April 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the quad near the Cesar Chavez Student Center on the campus, which is located at 1600 Holloway Ave. in San Francisco. The health fair is free and open to the public. With its theme "Good Health is a Tradition at SFSU," the health fair will offer to all students and members of the community free health services, such as dental, glaucoma, and blood pressure screenings, body fat measurements, sickle cell screenings and back care checkups. Representatives from more than two dozen various Bay Area health organizations will be on hand to answer questions. The fair is sponsored by S.F. State's Associated Students organization, the Student Empowerment and Involvement Center and the Student Health Service. For more information about S.F.
