Calendar Announcement - Performance:
"Cosmic Cabaret," featuring Physics Chanteuse Lynda Williams, returns to SF State's Charles Hagar Planetarium December 16 and 23 with "2001 Space Trip Hop," an irreverent, otherworldly musical about science, technology and the Universe. From the Big Bang to the subatomic wimps, journey to the far side of the Universe with the Bay Area's best science entertainers.
Special guests include science comedian Brian Malow, host of the on-line science show "But Seriously..."; Joe Gizmo, performing the techno-musical comedy "Emcee Squared,"; Trader Kid, tech-stock-market wonderkid, and more.
"Cosmic Cabaret" begins at 8 p.m. and runs 90 minutes. Tickets are $10 and benefit SF State's Planetarium Productions. The Charles Hagar Planetarium is located at 1600 Holloway Avenue, Thornton Hall, Room 422. Seating is limited, and reservations are required.
