WHAT:
"Sexuality Education Opportunities for the New Century," a conference exploring contemporary issues in sexuality education for K-12 and college students, will be held Friday and Saturday at San Francisco State University. The conference, which is free and open to the public, will feature leading researchers, educators and public policy makers and will examine how the teaching of sexuality can be expanded across the curriculum. Workshop topics include trends in teaching abstinence-only cu
rricula and how teaching issues of homosexuality can make schools safer for children.
