San Francisco State University's Joe Tuman, an expert in analyzing political debates, will be available to offer commentary on the upcoming presidential and vice presidential debates.
Tuman will be watching the debates with a small group of students during each debate: the presidential debates on October 3, 11 and 17. And the vice presidential debate on October 5.
Tuman, a professor of speech and communications studies at S.F. State, this semester is teaching a course on political communication in which his students study the presidential debates, political advertising and speechmaking. His students also are conducting focus groups for research on voters' perception of candidates immediately after watching political debates.
