Africana Studies
Professor and Chair of Africana Studies Dorothy Tsuruta presented the paper, "Opal Palmer Adisa as Womanist in Thought and Deed," about the Jamaican writer, at the 74th Annual Conference of the College Language Association on March 29 in New Orleans. The "Pathways and Porticos: The Caribbean and the South as Catalyst in Languages and Literature" conference was hosted by Tulane University.

Health Education
Professor of Health Education Erik Peper co-authored the article "Wireless Devices May Cause Harm," which was published in Nederlandse Vereniging voor Arbeidshygiéne-Nieuwsbrief EMV en EHS, Vol. 25, No. 1 (Journal of The Netherland Society for Employee Health) Peper, E & Booiman, A.C. (2014).
