Asian American Studies
Assistant Professor of Asian American Studies Jonathan H.X. Lee was presented the Early Career Award by the Association for Asian American Studies at its annual meeting on April 20 in Seattle. The award recognizes Lee's exceptional work in the field and in particular his "stellar scholarship, impressive teaching record and unyielding mentorship."

Center for Research and Education on Gender and Sexuality
Center for Research and Education on Gender and Sexuality Research Scientist Anu Manchikanti Gomez presented the poster: "What [Young] Women Want: A National Survey of Intrauterine Device Knowledge, Attitudes and Interest" at the YTH Live Conference (Youth+ Tech+ Health) in San Francisco, April 7-9.

Liberal Studies
Assistant Professor of Liberal Studies José Acacio de Barros presented an invited tutorial on Quantum Cognition at the Fourth World Congress and School on Universal Logic in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on March 30 and 31.
